China Testing & Certification International Group Co., Ltd. (CTC, Stock Code 603060) originated from the testing and certification business of China Building Materials Academy in the 1950s. After 70 years of unremitting efforts and persistent pursuit, the company has formed five business categories: detection and testing, certification and evaluation, testing instruments and intelligent manufacturing, measurement and calibration, scientific research and technical services, committed to providing customers with technical services and comprehensive solutions of detection and testing, certification and evaluation, appraisal, consultation, training, and instruments and equipment in fields of quality, environmental protection, green, safety, health, and energy conservation.

The industry of brake linings for wind turbine main shafts and yaw brakes in China has gradually matured alongside the large-scale development of the wind power industry. At the beginning of this century, during the onshore wind power startup phase, brake linings were mainly imported, while domestic products were primarily based on traditional metal materials, meeting only the basic braking needs of small turbines. After 2010, with the acceleration of wind power base construction in the “Three North” region (Northern, Northeastern, and Northwestern China) and turbine upgrades, stringent requirements were imposed on brake linings, including strong wind impact resistance, high-low temperature cycling resistance, and adaptability to high-frequency start/stop of yaw systems. This drove the material iteration towards resin-based composite friction materials and ceramic-reinforced wear-resistant materials, achieving dual performance breakthroughs in main shaft emergency braking and yaw precise positioning. In recent years, the rise of offshore wind power and the proliferation of large turbines, combined with the strengthened implementation of standards, have accelerated the industry's upgrade towards salt spray corrosion resistance, long service life, and low maintenance costs. Currently, China has become the world's largest producer of wind power brake linings, with products covering all types of wind power equipment, including high-power onshore turbines, offshore corrosion-resistant turbines, and plateau low-temperature turbines.
We have established a specialized wind power brake testing team, offering customized testing services for friction performance, shear performance, and more based on turbine power rating and installation scenarios (onshore plains, offshore islands, plateau mountains), helping products build a core defense line for the safe operation of wind power equipment.
