China Testing & Certification International Group Co., Ltd. (CTC, Stock Code 603060) originated from the testing and certification business of China Building Materials Academy in the 1950s. After 70 years of unremitting efforts and persistent pursuit, the company has formed five business categories: detection and testing, certification and evaluation, testing instruments and intelligent manufacturing, measurement and calibration, scientific research and technical services, committed to providing customers with technical services and comprehensive solutions of detection and testing, certification and evaluation, appraisal, consultation, training, and instruments and equipment in fields of quality, environmental protection, green, safety, health, and energy conservation.

China's quartzite industry has transitioned from primary processing to high-purity refining and functional customization, driven by the demand for high-end industrial materials. In the 1980s and 1990s, relying on high-quality quartzite resources in Lingshou (Hebei), Donghai (Jiangsu), and other regions, the industry focused on mining and simple crushing. Products were mostly ordinary quartzite lumps and coarse sand, mainly used in basic fields such as construction aggregates, refractory materials, and ordinary glass raw materials, characterized by low purity, high impurities (iron, aluminum), and limited added value.
Since the turn of the century, the upgrading of the glass industry, the rise of the photovoltaic (PV) industry, and stricter environmental policies have driven the industry's transformation toward purification, ultra-fine processing, and product specialization. High purity is achieved through processes like magnetic separation, flotation, and acid leaching. Fine grinding technologies achieve fineness levels of over 3000 mesh. Glass-grade, ceramic-grade, and abrasive-grade quartzite products have been developed, enabling breakthroughs in applications such as float glass, high-grade ceramics, and precision abrasives.
In recent years, high-end demands from new energy (PV wafer sawing sand, lithium battery separator support material), semiconductors (raw material for quartz crucibles), and high-end building materials (engineered quartz stone slabs) have surged. Coupled with evolving standards, the industry is accelerating its upgrade toward efficient resource utilization and high-end product specialization. Today, China is a leading global producer of quartzite, with products covering the full range: raw ore, ordinary quartz sand, high-purity quartz sand, and quartz stone slabs. These are widely used in dozens of fields, including construction, building materials, glass, photovoltaics, semiconductors, and new energy.
We have set up a dedicated quartzite mineral testing team. Based on product type and application scenario (glass raw material, PV wafer sawing, semiconductor auxiliary material, high-end engineered stone slabs), we provide customized testing services—including purity analysis, impurity screening (iron, aluminum, titanium), and fineness determination—helping products build advantages in performance optimization and regulatory compliance.
