The Doors, Windows, and Curtain Walls Testing Laboratory of CTC is a national-level laboratory in China for the testing of doors, windows, curtain walls, and their materials. The laboratory operates under the core members of CTC, the National Center for Building Materials Testing and the National Center for Quality Supervision and Testing of Building Materials, carrying out inspection services for products such as exterior windows, curtain walls, security doors, fire doors, locks, and framing components.
The laboratory occupies an area of over 2,000 square meters and possesses a complete set of advanced domestic performance testing instruments and equipment for doors, windows, curtain walls, and their materials. It can perform full performance testing for various types of doors, windows, and curtain walls, as well as inspections of glass, profiles, silicone structural sealants, locks, and hardware accessories.
The laboratory holds the "Special Testing Qualification for Building Curtain Walls [ (Jing) Jian Jian Zi No. Z010]" and the "Construction Engineering Witness Testing Qualification [(Jing) Jian Jian Zi No. J071]". It is a designated laboratory for the "Building Window Energy Performance Labeling" by the Ministry of Construction (No. 0102) and a designated testing laboratory for the China Environmental Labeling (Ten Ring Certification) for steel and wooden doors. For many years, it has undertaken market spot-check tasks for the State Administration for Industry and Commerce, the Beijing Municipal Commission of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, the Beijing Administration for Industry and Commerce, the Beijing Bureau of Quality and Technical Supervision, and relevant government departments in various provinces and cities (for products such as exterior windows, security doors, locks, and framing components).
In recent years, the laboratory has successively undertaken relevant testing work for the completion acceptance of door, window, and curtain wall projects, including for the Great Hall of the People, the Ministry of Construction, the Ministry of Transport, the National Stadium ("Bird's Nest"), the Wukesong Olympic Basketball Gymnasium, Olympic Garden, Ocean Mountain View, and Pearl River Emperor View. It has issued tens of thousands of scientific and accurate test reports to all sectors of society, receiving consistent praise from clients and competent authorities.
