On November 3, a delegation led by Supian Musa, Chief Executive Officer of CIDB Holdings Sdn Bhd (CIDB Holdings), visited CTC. Chen Lu, Deputy Party Committee Secretary and General Manager of CTC, warmly received the delegation. The two sides jointly signed a Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation in the fields of building materials inspection, testing and certification. Supian Musa presented an authorization certificate to CTC, marking that CTC can now carry out inspection and testing on mandatory testing building materials products exported from China to Malaysia and managed by the Construction Industry Development Board (CIDB) Malaysia. Muhammad Azizi Ali, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of CIDB Holdings, and Song Kaisen, Deputy General Manager of CTC, attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Chen Lu welcomed Supian Musa and his delegation and briefly introduced CTC. Chen Lu stated that as an enterprise centered on technology and industry, CTC has a solid foundation and comprehensive capabilities in inspection and testing, certification, standardization, and green low-carbon fields, and has branches in multiple port cities in China. CTC looked forward to in-depth cooperation with CIDB Holdings.

Supian Musa highly recognized CTC’s technical strength and introduced CIDB and CIDB Holdings. Supian Musa expressed great pleasure in cooperating with CTC in the testing field and believed that with CTC’s technical strength, the testing efficiency of building materials exported from China to Malaysia would be effectively improved.

Both sides stated that they would take this opportunity to deepen cooperation in building materials certification and other related fields, jointly explore broader paths for technical collaboration, enhance the level of trade facilitation between China and Malaysia, build an efficient channel for high-quality domestic building materials products to expand into the Malaysian market, and help the construction industry cooperation between the two countries reach a new level.

During the meeting, Supian Musa and his delegation visited the exhibition hall of China Building Materials Academy and the CTC laboratory.

The Chief Advisor of CIDB Holdings and Head of the China Center, as well as relevant heads of CTC’s functional departments and Hunan Company, attended the meeting.
